A very good morning/afternoon to you all,everybody.Firstly please allow me to make a self-introduction.My name is ***,coming from *** College.I have the honour to talk about science and the world with you here.My topic is Science Changes the World.

Well,science is familar to us.It's of great use for our world,and it's used everywhere.Look at the microphone please.It is made with science.Without it,you can hardly hear me in such a big hall,can you?

Science has been changing our world.In ancient times,people went out for business on foot,but now on our private cars or by underground.People used to live in small wooden houses,but now in comfortable big ones equipped with all kinds of appliances.In the past,people had to work day and night and had no time for relaxation,but now they can go travelling around the world if they like.In the past,people communicated with one another by letters,which could be recieved in several days,but today they chat on the Internet,on which the message can be done in a flash.What has caused these great changes?Science! Science has changed our world,and it will be changing our world.

Since science is so important to our daily life and our world can not be seperated from it,we students should learn it well.We're supposed to work hard at school,taking advantage of our time,aren't we?
